Whatever Comics takes a Look at Trinity and 1985

Trinity #1 From: DC Comics

Writer: Kurt Busiek Art: Mark Bagley with Art Thibert

Interesting title this, it follows the Superman / Batman comic in so far as it relies totally upon the famous logos to spell out the name of the comic, and thus it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt how powerful a logo can be.

So lets take a look then, it is by Kurt (astro city) Busiek and Mark (spiderman) Bagley after all, no light weights in the industry by any stretch of the imagination.

Well its alright, pretty standard Superhero fare here, not great and not crap, put it this way with KB at the helm it can only get better...cant it?

I bloody well hope so, because this pales into insignificance compared to Astro City, and although the art is above adequate, it really is the best thing on offer here, which saddens me as i was hoping for more, much more.

Do us all a favor Kurt, stop being a DC prostitute, and get back to doing comics for the love of it, IE Astro City.

a very middle of the road 5/10

Marvel 1985 #1 Millar brings the villains to our world.
