1) So who are you and what do you do?
I’m an arsehole from the States who has had moderate success in the gaming field. I’m currently making a move into comics, with a few indie gigs under me belt!

2) What have you done that we might recognize?
A plethora of RPG and CCG work. More recently, Mutants & Masterminds

3) What have you done that we might not know about?
Savage Dragon #132.

4) What are you working on now that we should look out for?
Starship Troopers: Triple Threat, and a project in the works with Cy Dethan - writer supreme!
 
5) What piece of work are you most proud of, and why?
The next one! Why? Because I hope it to better than the last!

6) If I could buy only one thing you have worked, on what should it be?
My art book - Smoke and Mirrors: the Art of Scott James!

7) What book would you have been proud to have worked on, and why?
The Amazing Spiderman 9/11 Tribute!
 
8) If you could work on any book / character in comics, what would it be and why?
Amazing Spiderman. Well, with great power comes great responsibility! ‘Nuff Said?!
 
9) Who would you most like to collaborate with on an original story, and why?
The first choice would have been Alex Toth, but he’s no longer available so Garth Ennis.
 
10) If you were allowed only five comics (does not have to be single issues - a run counts as one) on a desert island (like Lost), what would they be?
Preacher, JRJR Spiderman, Toth by Design, Savage Dragon, and Jordi Bernet’s Torpedo 1936 run!!

 12) If you were a sandwich, what would your filling be?
Corned beef all the way! There is nothin’ like a Ruben and an ice cold beer!!!

Chips with my Ruben and cold beer!

I’m American, so Bats.

15) What word do you think is underused?
Plethora.
 
16) If you could be granted one superpower, which would you chose?
The ability to fly!

17) Save the world or rule the galaxy?
Rule the galaxy to save the world!!!!
 
18) What is your ultimate “who’d win” in comics?
Vanauken vs. Tanner!
 
19) If you could be involved in telling a story featuring any two characters, who would they be?
Spiderman and Savage Dragon.

20) What are the best and worst things about working in comics?
Collaborating with a great writer is the best. The worst is the pay - LOL!

22) Any words of wisdom before you go?
Don’t play with clumpy sand or eat yellow snow! I learned those the hard way!! :(
